The 5 Maids

"Yes. I am the Baker and my name is Sarah. You Must be Master Albert?" she asked, finishing the cookie she was decorating and placed in on the try to let it all set. "You can help yourself if you desire." she said. "I hear you are staying the night?"

Albert-I think I'll...try one for now, don't want to ruin dinner, and yes I"ll be staying the night, it's a long drive back

"One will won't be much harm to your appetite." she said as she got the next cookie and got got some other icing bags. the already made cookies had been decorated with light coloured icing patterns.

Albert-these are really good *He smiled* thank you

"You are welcome." she nodded, "I am glad you like them."

Albert-so...is it just Women who are employed here?

"Oh hello." smiled a long haired blonde maid in mint green came in with a box of fresh vegetable from the garden.

Albert-Hello *he smiled at her* (I think it is just women here)

"Who are you handsome?" she giggled.

"Leah, be respectful, This is Albert, Master Creed's son." said Sarah. "Oh! I am sorry! I"m Leah I tend the house and the veg garden."

Albert-it's quite alright, and as much as I appreciate it, you don't have to refer to me as Master, just Albert is fine

"Please excuse us if we do not. But we respect you and your father too much." said Sarah.

Albert-mmm *they saw a bit of discomfort when they mentioned his father*

"You seem.....irritated?" Asked Leah.

Albert-...lets just...say I'm not fond of your former master...more hatred then anything.

"Why?" asked Leah. "We heard much about you from him.....but he told us you lived with your mother."

Albert-news to me, never heard from him, never helped my mother and me...and mother worked her self to Death to support me...where the hell was he all my life, here...living in this marvelous mansion while we had a crappy apartment that barely functioned.

"I believe he kept himself a distance from everyone besides us." Alexa said as she came in, "For many reasons."

Albert-look...can we not...mention that man...please

She nodded, "As you wish. Ladies, follow the request." "Yes ma'am." they all said

Albert-sighed* Where may I relax for a bit before dinner?

"There is a gazebo out in the back garden or the Indoor pool with a sitting and reading area." said Alexa.

Albert-I didn't really bring anything for a pool so I'll head to the Gazebo and just...think for a while

"As you wish." said Alexa and they nodded as he headed out the back.

Albert-found a nice shaded spot and sat down, he felt bad on how he acted in front of them, him snapping with them not really knowing the story, it wasn't their fault

Not knowing, Valentina was tending the hedges, and forming them back to their shape they were firmed before.
