She was showing no pain as this was being done, "It will be done in a minute."

John-was writhing in agony but nothing he did was really phasing her* UUUGGHHHHHHH

Then she released his hand and a mark was left on his hand like a brand almost, but then faded out of sight. "You'll feel the effects and you'll be able to see the demons."

John-ahhhh god *he held his arm* oh that hurt *He blinked a bit and his eyes flashed red seeing her with a highlight around her* oh boy...I feel light headed* he dropped to a knee* gonna.....*He passed out*

She smirked, "That's the effect my blood has." she got hold of his collar pulled him to the wall, "I'll be nearby." she said to him and turn divisible when his boss came by, "HUH! HEY KID!" he came over, "Hey can ya here me?!?"

John-ugh wha?

The boss noticed the blood and some glass on the floor, as well as his hand wounded and how pale he was*

"What happened?" he asked him, "You faint or something?"

"GO to the staff room and I'll se to that hand." he said.

John-felt...light headed and sick...just kind of...collapsed, think I hallucinated or something.

"Oh second thought I'll call the ambulance." he said, getting his phone.

John-just laid back, and soon he was taken to the hospital and looked over, his body temperature was high and they gave him an IV and tried to cool him down, it was written up that he had a high fever, and soon he was sent home to rest*

As he was going on home, The demon appeared to him, "Well you lived."

John-WHOA WHOA *he almost jumped out of his seat, the people on the bus looked at him* so...sorry everyone sorry *he sat back down*

She smirked, not one else can see her. "And lively."

John-sighed* this is not how I pictured my first day on the job going *He grumbled* now it also makes me look incompetent or sickly, unreliable

"I'll be sure to make it worth your while." she said.

John-sighed and he got off the bus with he following and into his apartment* well...this is my home *it was a small efficiency apartment*

She followed along, ".....Well it will do for base of operations."

John-base operations? *He looked at her*....you're serious about this demon hunting thing aren't you?

She gave a dry expression, "I'm a COP basically, so yeah." she said.

John-A cop...you could have led with that type of explanation, it would have made it a lot easier one me

"There was no time. I needed you to agree or not." she said as they entered his place. "Whoa......you are not livin' the high life much are you?" she said.

John-...no...not exactly *he sighed* it all functions though, the couch is comfortable enough and I have a bed

"..........Indeed. But anyway...they job you'll be doing with me when you are NOT working....is to help me hunt dow and rematch the escapee demons." she said.

John-...and how do you suppose I do that? *He looked at her* I can barely phase you

"When We exchanged blood, you'll be able to see them and detect demons easier than others and I'll be there to assist you until the blood runs through you more." she said
