Jori X Klotho

".........It depends on what you plan to do......." he was concerned now. "Klotho No! He'll KNOW you brought someone else then!!" he was hearing she was taking to the house.

Klotho sighed. Frank did have a point. It would be best not to perform the ritual in the house. "I am going to cleanse his body of the dark magic by creating a blood purification seal. It will bond him to me permanently for as long as I live. If I die, then so does he." She explained to Frank. "That is why Jori must never know. He will be furious. I should have enough magic left to perform the ritual. I will just be very tired after its done."

She left Frank's side and returned to Adonis. She bit her finger and traced an odd pattern on the palm of his hand. "Now, use your blood to draw the same symbol on my hand." She told him.

Frank sighed, "We can't do in on the beach." he said to Klotho. He had witnessed Jori's sacrificial rights before and he remembered a few things Jori learned. Adonis coughed up more blood. "It will be too noticeable in the sand and sand I hear absorbs magic." he said, Adonis lifted his hand weakly. "Klotho....we HAVE TO move from here." urged Frank.

Klotho was getting frustrated. She was just wanted this over with. "Where should we go then, Frank? As you can see, time is running out." She said and reluctantly put Adonis's arm over her shoulders and lifted him up to help him walk.

"There's a stone circle Jori made for his blood rituals not far from where we are now. Get him there and it will not be noticeable since the smell of blood is strong there and he won't see it." he said.

Klotho nodded, "Make sure Emeka stays on the ship. This shouldn't take long." She helped Adonis walk following the scent of blood that Frank had mentioned. Soon enough she found the stone circle nestled in a hidden part of the forest. She put Adonis down and got on her knees in front of him. "Remember our agreement. After this, you will never come back or try to kill me or any of my family." She reopened the cut on her finger and drew the marking on the palm of his hand again. "Your turn." She said and opened her clean hand for him, sitting it on his lap.

"She *cough* will stay." groaned Adonis. Emeka was sitting on the railing of the ship and glared at the them. Frank nodded and he stayed on the beach to watch over Emeka as Adonis and Klotho wonder on towards toe the Ritual circle that Jori made when he was practising his voodoo.

After they found it, he groaned in pain as they entered the circle and he was on his knees, too weak to go further. He glared at her "I fucking heard you *cough* you fucking wench." growling with blood dripping down from the corner of his mouth. As he gave his palm to her again and they started over the ritual.

Once both their palms were covered with the appropriate symbol, they joined hands and held them tight. "No matter what happens or how painful it is...don't let go until the ritual is complete. Otherwise, it won't work." She closed her eyes and began chanting in an ancient dialect. Soon after, the stone circle began to glow an odd green color. The energy began to swirl around them. Klotho continued to chant and could feel the heat between their hands. The ritual had began. The veins and arteries that ran up Adonis' arm began to glow. The magic was working its way through his system slowly. It was going to be painful for him, very painful. Klotho's body glowed as well, her blood providing the cleansing energy. She opened her eyes and looked at him, they were glowing a brilliant green color. She gripped his hand tighter knowing that the pain was going to start any second.

He glared at her but remained silent getting the point and hating he resulted to this to fucking staying alive. He felt a sting sensation forming throughout his whole body, "Ah...AHHH!" he growled trying to hold back the cries of pain, which got worse minute by minute. He wanted so bad to pull away but he wanted to live too.

Klotho took her other hand and clasped it tight over the other side of Adonis's hand to keep it in place. She could feel the tingling and the heat, but she wasn't in any pain. She was just feeling her energy draining. With two life forms inside her relying on her for nourishment and strength, it made it hard for her to use her magic. She hoped she would be able to complete the ritual before she became so exhausted that she lost consciousness. The ritual was about half way over. Adonis' entire body would be glowing soon enough. Her breathing was starting to get erratic and she was breaking out in a cold sweat, still she didn't let go. "Hold on...it will be over soon." She said to Adonis hearing him scream and curse in pain.

As predicted his body began to glow and his eyes flashed green as well, "AHH!!!!!!AAGHH!!" he stilled let out occasional screams on agony. He snarled at her, not able to say, 'Shut up!' to her at this time.

The ritual was beginning to take its toll on both of them. Klotho's energy was fading and Adonis was overcome with intense pain. Once the light reached his eyes, she knew the deed was almost done. Barely able to keep her grip, she held onto his hand as the ritual came to an end. The energy around them disappearing and the light fading. Klotho was so exhausted barely able to keep her head up. "Did it...did it work?" She asked with labored breath.

His grip on hers tightened more format he pain and he growled at her trying to keep the hold. But the light started to fade and once he saw her eyes stopped he let go and panted heavily and laid back trying to recover for a moment from the pain he had going through his body just moments ago. "I d....don't know...."

"The magic...should be gone now...try to use it." She said. She also laid down feeling completely exhausted. She watched Adonis hoping that the ritual worked. She looked at her palm and saw that the mark was still there. It looked like a burn mark. It would remain there for as long as they lived, only visible to the naked eye when they were in close proximity to each other.

He sat up and glared, "Don't tell me what to do." he growled a there and he stood and clicked his neck and his eyes flashed red and formed the dark energy in his hands and didn't feel the overwhelming sensation he usually got, "..............Its worked."

"Heh, still ungrateful as ever...even though I just saved your life." She didn't have the strength to stand up. She just laid there looking at him trying to catch her breath and get her energy back. "Now leave this place...and never. Come. Back." She demanded.

".........for now Klotho." he said under his breath as he got walking back along the trail and back to the little ship, Where Emeka awaited him. Frank spotted him walking back alone, Emeka jumped down running to him, "It worked?" she asked, "Yes....we're leaving..." without question, Emeka glared at Frank and reluctantly followed along with going.

Frank raced off towards the blood circle to make sure she was unharmed.

Klotho sighed with relief when he was finally out of sight. Her body aches and she was still very weak from the ritual. She laid there on the stone floor knowing that Frank would come looking for her once Adonis emerged from the forest. But she had a feeling that even though she did save his life, that wouldn't stop him from trying to kill her and everyone she held dear. At least now with their blood bond, she would be able to see him coming.

Frank found her and sigh in relief seeing her in the circle still, he rushed over to her, "Klotho!" he helped her up, "Oh fuck my life." he said, "Let's get you back to the Base." he said to her.

Klotho was relieved when she heard Frank's voice come up behind her. She gladly accepted his help standing up and put her arm over his shoulder, staring to walk slowly. "Thanks...and remember not a word of this to Jori. This never happened." She looked at her palm and saw the mark starting to slightly fade as they grew farther apart.

"I know. I know." he said, "But if he finds out himself, I'm not responsible for that." he told her as he helped her walk the whole way back to the base.

When they arrived back, Frank got her to her room to rest, "i'll deal with the men today, you just rest and recover....maybe take a bath later on. I'll come back to check ya later."

"He WON'T find out. I will make sure of that." She was relieved when they finally got to the house and she was able to rest in bed. "Thanks Frank...I'll be fine. I just need to rest and I'll be good as new."

Several hours later...

Klotho had returned to her room after taking a long hot bath as Frank suggested. It felt odd not having Jori with her. She had grown so accustomed to him being around all the time. It was still odd that he wasn't there. She took her towel and started drying her hair in front of the standing mirror.

Frank sighed, "I'm just saying."

Jori meanwhile was on the ship and sailing on in the night and sighed, sitting in his cabin. Drinking his goblet of wine, tracing the rim of the cup, thinking on Klotho and his unborn children, ".........Me a father......even i find that terrifying." he sniggered.

Klotho looked in the mirror at her reflection as she dried her hair. She looked at her naked body in the mirror. It was starting to really change and become more noticeable. She stood up straight and took a good look at herself. Her skin had grown darker as well as he hair. Her belly was also much rounder and she had an obvious small bump now. She turned sideways and looked at herself, her baby bump even more prominent from that angle. She was just into her second trimester and since she was carrying twins, she looked a bit bigger than normal. She stroked her bump and sighed. "I'm doing all this for you two, so you can live a long life. I don't want to lie to your father, but I don't have much choice. He will understand later..."

Frank came by to check on Klotho before going to bed himself, he knocked on the door, "Klotho its me." he said as he came in, "I am just coming in to check if you needed anything?" he asked, staying at the door.
