Kaj-finished drying off and got his clothes together* I'm leaving in the dead of night...

".........Be careful...." she said, still worried this will be bad.

Kaj-headed back to the main house heading to the boys sleeping room and secretly gathered some supplies*

The headmistress was sleeping soundly in her room, and the girls in their segregated room.

Kaj-snuck through the halls, he had fastened his sheets into holding his clothes and quietly went to the kitchen to grab a few pieces of fruit before sneaking out the back* "don't worry.....I'll come back for you someday....I promise

The others were asleep and so was Jala. But as he was lowering itself out the side of the old building creaked and LOUDLY. The headmistress woke, "Ugh...huh? What as that?" she got out of bed.

Kaj-dropped to the ground and took off into the woods* No doubt they heard that....got to get away

The hag noticed the hanging cloth from the window, "NO!!" she raced to the window and spotted Kaj just reaching the bottom, "YOU WILL GET IT!!!!" she saw who it was. "ARMIR!! TORRUN!!!! GET UP WE HAVE AN ESCAPING BRAT!!!"

Kaj-shit knew it *he ran through the woods* got to get into the thick of it...I can lose them there *He darted as fast as he could*

Then two men came out form the lower room by the kitchen and spotted him running off, "HEY COME BACK YOU BRAT!!!" in hot pursuit.

Kaj-was fast, really fast, and knowing the woods helped him, while a the men tripped a few times giving Kaj enough time and distance to get to the thick woods and out of sight

These guys though were not giving up the chase. but when they lost sight of him for a minute they frowned, "Split up, look around." they did so looking around.

Kaj-kept low, picking up his feet as he walked to make as little sound as he could, making quick small darts when he could, it was almost pitch black out*

They were going away, "FIND THAT FUCKING BRAT!!" the old hag came in with a fire torch, "Get him back!" she growled at the two of them and hand one the torch.

They got going his way.

Kaj-that bitch is relentless *He thought and continued moving* not telling what will happen if I get caught *He stayed low and saw a hollow log and climbed in and blocked the entrance, making it look like nothing had been through there and he waited*

They were still looking around for their runaway, that mistress was not giving up at all.

Kaj-stayed in there silent all night, after a certain time they'd have to circle back at which point would be his chance to leave

They got coming his direction, "Check this way." one grumbled lighting the torch around the darkness.

Kaj-climbed backwards, deeper into the log, and he saw a spider start working it's web around the entrance, it started to look as if nothing had disturbed where he hid

Then one of the men knocked into the log and a BUNCH of spiders came scurrying out.

Kaj-bit his lip trying not to freak out and just stayed still clutching his things*

"Oi! Who are you?" a gruff voice called out. The two looked to see an old man in a cloak and a lantern in hand, "We're looking for a boy, he ran from the orphanage." said one guy.

The old man then looked into the hollowed log and noticed the boy inside, but he did so without letting the men know he saw him. "I haven't seen anyone."
