Lairs and Demons Remastered

"No, my brother dropped it near the cave." she said, "But we're worried the bear my be residing there."

Travis-very well...I'll search this cave and I'll deal with the bear if it comes to it. *He smiled* can you tell me the direction of the cave?

"I'll mark it on your map." she said.

Travis-well...I'll be back later *He headed on out and a waypoint showed* This thing is convenient, pops up when I need it...disappears when I don't, now...a bear huh? *He sighed* Lets go deal with this...

Then a book suddenly appeared in his hand, it was the missions journal since he just accepted one.

Travis-flipped through the journal* This is handy, ok make this my main objective that I'm tracking...and there's the waypoint...wonder if this is an ability only players have

The journal showed a map as well and it showed it was a walks away, so it would good to go right away to get to the point marked for him.

Travis-knowing these quests I"ll have to fight the bear...if it's higher level I'll back off and grind a bit...but if it's something I can take I'll kill it right away.

After travelling to the cave, which was a couple hours walking from the village. The mouth of the cave was spotted and the marker vanished.

Travis-here we are *he was quiet, where is this bear? *He looked around trying to find the missing item* got to find the item and find the level of this bear

Then when moving around to get a different angle, there it was. The bear was sleeping just inside of the entrance, snoring away.

Travis-...squinted trying to get a read on it's level* if it's a certain level I can sneak around it.

It showed a level 3 bear, a little higher than himself, but not a HUGE challenge besides its size.

Travis-I did level up off those Wolves...and they were pretty easy...hmm...if I get a sneak attack on it...then I should be good

The bear was snorting a bit, threatening to wake up, thinking it heard something near is home.

Travis-there goes that but still *he pulled his daggers* alright lets do this *He started to creep forward*

The grunted and shifted a bit, and there was a sparkle near his large froth paw, a charm on a gold chain.

Travis-there it is...and it hasn't noticed me yet. *he moved closer and closer* "Careful *he thought* Careful now"

The issue would be that the pendant was near the TEETH end of the bear and the nose.

Travis-no choice....*He grabbed his daggers* lets go for the quick kill *He managed to get close enough and readied himself before jumping up to bring both daggers into it's head*

The bear jumped up from the attack and roared in pain. Trying to shake him off. It noticed him and growled, trying to get him and his daggers off.

Travis-continued to stab into the bear over and over before being thrown off and rolling getting himself prepared for the fight*

The bear growled at his attacker and roared at him, then got charging at him.

Travis-come on big guy *he dodged a swipe and kept slashing, he was quick on his fight being a thief class*

The bear was start to slow down from being weak. And growled at him.
