Origins of Saluna

They got skinning the deer and let it hang to dry a day or two. But in the meantime the whole cooked Rabbit with simple wild herbs, with boiled potatoes and fried turnips were on the menu tonight.

Benjamin-smiled and breathed in the scent of the stew* mmmmm that smells amazing

Kimberly poured some fresh milk into their cups and then sat down with her sons, "Eat up you two." she said.

Benjamin-started eating right away, it had been a while since he could just sit and enjoy a meal without having to hunt* Oh wow it's so good *He said taking bites*

She smiled, "I'm glad you like it." she smiled, Samuel sat quietly eating away.

Benjamin-anything happen around here while I was in the woods?

"no not really." she said, "Just make and selling bread."

"The mayor came by again." Samuel said, "Samuel!" Kimberly hushed him. The Mayor had his eye on their mother for the last few eyes and had been trying to get her attention, but Kimberly had no interest in him.

Benjamin-ahh...well...not to worried about that, he can sulk all he wants. *He took another bite*

"He's getting pushy." said Samuel.

"BOTH of your stop it.If he comes around again, I'll see to him." she said, she had to be careful though. Mayor Jepson White was known to be a bit of a tyrant.

Benjamin-...if he ever gets out of line let me know, until then I'll just focus on hunting.

"Yes." she said, but was not going to let her son get in trouble for something she was dealing with.

Benjamin-finished his meal* Thank you mother that was delicious, I'm going to go take a bath

She smiled, "Very well, BOTH of you should go have a bath." Samuel pouted, "DO I have to?"

Benjamin-yep, you're all dirty, don't want to mess up your bed

He pouted more and followed his brother, "See you both in a bit."

Benjamin-got the bath set and climbed in* oooo that feels good on all the sore parts

Samuel sighed as he got his clothes off, "I don't get why i need to wash, i washed last week."

Benjamin-it's best to wash whenever you can, specially as a hunter, or else your scent is easy to pick up by animals

He sighed, "Yeah yeah...."

Benjamin-you'll really enjoy it when you start, specially when your body aches

He got in as well and got his arms around his knees. "I still don't get it." he said and got washing quickly after 10 minutes he got out. "I'm done! You can stay in there." He got a spare drying cloth and got drying off before getting dressed and heading inside.

Then watching front he forest line near his house, a giggle sounded.

Benjamin-hmm? *He sat up and looked around* is someone there?

"Ohh don't recognise me." Saluna came out from behind a tree with a cattish grin. "I though you had a nice body under all that dirt and clothes." she giggled.

Benjamin-oh...it's you Saluna...you know it might be a bit dangerous to come to the village

"It dangerous to come to anywhere." she stated with a shrug.
