Origins of Saluna

Benjamin-looked down at her, he didn't really know what to do or truly say...he finally knelt down next to her gently pulled her into a hug*

Saluna just kept on crying and wailing, calling for her mother and grasped at Benjamin's shirt and was shaking in his arms.

Benjamin-held her for a long period of time before he finally helped her up* come on...we need to get you home, I'll stay with you as long as you need me

She remained silent as they got walking back to the cottage in the Haze. The Purple Haze then began to fade off as they walked through, her mother's magic was fading. The Spiders came out of the shadows and followed behind them in a convoy of sorts,, as if to mourn with Saluna.

Benjamin-when they reached her house, he opened the door for her* I'll uh...I'll get a fire going in the fire place and make some tea just...do what you need to do

She just went to her bed and sat down. Her eyes puffy and red from crying and sniffling now and then. Before he closed the door, the small Spider from his hunts slipped into the house and went over, sitting with Saluna.

Benjamin-started to heat up some tea* I'll need to return home and let them know that I'll be away for a while...just so they don't worry

"..........." she merely nodded.

Benjamin-...*he made her some tea and set it on the table next to her and then sat down and wrapped an arm around her to try and comfort her*

She sighed and leaned on his shoulder, feeling tired.

Benjamin-leaned his head on hers*


After a few hours Benjamin gathered his things and turned to her*


Benjamin-I'll be back tomorrow, I'll bring some food and other things..and I'll say here with you after that.

"........Yes." she said in a tired voice. The small spider still by her side.

Benjamin-I'll stay as long as you want me too *He smiled* Be back soon *he headed out the door and headed back to the village*

When he left, Saluna looked to the Little Spider, ".........Silky.........what will I do?" the little arachnid merely chittered.

Benjamin-sighed* Damn fucking Mayor...knew that guy was garbage the moment I laid eyes on him...and...no Saluna's mother...it could have been my mother too...wonder how many people he screwed over

As he returned home, Samuel noticed his brother, "BEN!!!"

Benjamin-Hey...*He said a bit somber*

"Are you alright?" he asked, worried about his brother.

Ben-yeah...we won't have to worry about the Mayor anymore...or the witch, but I need to go talk to mom, I'm going to be gone for a couple days

"You going hunting?" he asked.

Their mother came out, "Benjamin! Thank goodness you're home." she said in relief.

Benjamin-something like that...it's...more complicated then just Hunting though *He turned to see his mother* Hi Mom...

"......Did something happen?" his mother noticed his face. "You're going back out?! But there's word of the Mayor begin killed! You cannot!"

Benjamin-I have too mother...something.... really bad happened to my friend, and I have to make sure she's ok...I'm going to stay with them for a few days

"............" she sighed, "Promise me you'll be back soon though." she said, her worried mother face was on.

Benjamin-smiled at her* don't worry I'll be checking in...I'll...tell you everything soon, ok...just...just between the two of us
