Dragon Country

"A small meal to a dragon is a sheep......that's why i went for cattle.....more to eat for the day and I'll have no need to hunt every day..."

Dorian-...I'll...need to take you into the village tomorrow...but I can't have you attacking any of their livestock, I'll...figure out something to get you fed

"But ou don't even know where we are......we're deep on the other side of the mountain...........I can't be around that village as I am.....they'll know."

Dorian-not if I wrap you in a blanket or hood, plus I'll say you have a skin condition...it'll buy us a little time...as for where we are, I can get us to the village, I studied maps of the area before I came

She looked at him Dryly, "Skin condition......" she sighed, "Look I NEED a place were there is plenty of food for me and cover and safety from hunters......you can't help with that....and I can't fly."

Dorian-I can take you to the guild hall, plenty of food is always brought in there, and many private rooms

"...........I just told you i CAN'T stay there........"

Dorian-...I'll protect you

"...........How can YOU protect me?" she was not so sure about that.

Dorian-...you're not...someone who attacks humans out of malice...you only went for cattle for food, My Guild leader...she's...very smart and understands certain things...plus just...being able to speak...to someone like you, she'll make sure you're taken care of and that no harm comes of you...our guild is against those who have been chasing you, the Black Marketers.

"...........No I can't be around that many humans....its too dangerous and....my father told me not to go to human nests with too many of you." she said

Dorian-looked over at her* well...*he thought for a bit* How about this...I live away from the city, I have my own place in the forest, it's near by but it's isolated.

"...............why do you live away?"

Dorian-I enjoy my own privacy from time to time, it's not a long walk to get to where I need to go, but it's away enough that I dont' feel cramped with so many people.

"............Then that might work until i get better." she said.

Dorian-we're still going to have to stop in the village first...I"ll...let them know that I "took care" of the dragon, might give them some peace of mind for a while. *he sighed*

"..........Well we need tot get on the other side of the mountain and avoid the hunters first." she said.

Dorian-we'll worry about that in the morning...*he put a few more things in the fire then laid down clutching his one side* till now we should get some rest

".........What was you name again?" she asked.

He looked at her*...my name is Dorian *He laid his head on the ground*

Dorian-good night Eona *he closed his eyes and fell asleep*

The next morning came and she was standing with her tail still out and she stretched. Dorian was still sleeping and she went out and spotted a waterhole, she sniffed And got excited. There was something in the water, EEL!

She dove in the water and came back up with a couple eels in hand with her claws in the wrigglers so they didn't get away an she dover again and got a third in her mouth. She then shook the water off and carried the eels back to the cave.

Dorian-mmmm *He stirred and slowly sat up* ugh wha?

Eona then came in with the three wriggly long eels and she tossed one to him, "Here." she said.
