Kaidan & Delilah: Part 2

She stripped out of her clothes quickly and put on her silk night gown. It felt soft and light against her bare skin. Once she was ready for bed she walked over to her side and pulled back the blanket. "Vashti noticed the ring you gave me and was quite thrilled to learn of our engagement." She said smiling. "I hope you don't mind that she knows already."

"I knew she would see without us telling her." he smiled, "But we'll announce it all tomorrow night at dinner with the clan."

Lilah laid down in the bed and pulled the covers up over her and snuggled in close to Kaidan. "Ok. I hope they approve of me." She said feeling a little worried.

"They do. And they will." he kissed her lips before he relaxed fully.

Lilah smiled feeling reassured by his answer. "Rest well, my love." She touched his cheeks with her finger tips lightly and closed her eyes relaxing as well.

The next morning Both were sleeping in after a long night at the gala and not getting back till late. Kaidan was sleep happily with his arm around Lilah's waist, not bothered by anything outside their room for the day.

Lilah gently opened her eyes and looked around the dark room. It was nice and quiet in the hideout. Even Scout was resting up on the canopy quietly. She turned her head when she felt Kaidan's gentle breathing on the back of her neck. She turned over and looked at his sleeping face. He looked so at peace and relaxed. She decides to just let him rest and not wake him. He had been working so hard lately and needed his sleep. She just laid there admiring his handsome sleeping face.

Meanwhile outside the room Striker was dealing wight he day to day simple things while their leader rested for the day, Vashti was right along with him, keep the girl workers in line and the kitchen in line as well.

After staring for a few minutes, Lilah touched his lips gently with the tips of her fingers feeling the soft skin and touching his fangs beneath his lips.

"I love you...so much." She leaned in and kissed him gently tasting him.

He kissed her back out of reaction in his sleep, "...L-ilah..." he said in his sleep.

Lilah smiled when he said her name in his sleep. "Kaidan..." She answered him back and kissed his lips again. She snuggled closer, pressing her warm body against him.

He stirred, "hmm? Morning love..." he grumbled as he stretched awake, kissing her back.

"Good morning. Sleep well?" She moved a bit and let him stretch and wake up a bit.

"mmm yes actually." he smiled and kissed her again, "How about you? Sleep well?"

"I did..." She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him back again still wanting to taste him. "Were you dreaming about me?"

He smiled, "Always." he held her close, "What were you dreaming about last night." he wiggled his eye brows teasingly.

"About you of course. Actually it was about the first time we met." She chuckled remembering their less than perfect first encounter.

"Oh?You spotting me trying to kill someone?" he chuckled.

"No...after that when you followed me into the forest and snuck up behind me. You grabbed me from behind and muzzled me so I couldn't scream." She said thinking back to their first encounter.

"Ah yes.....why that of things?" he chuckled., playing with her short locks.

"I don't remember much, just bits here and there. That was one of them. I also remember that night in the hot spring where we made that deal...that was the first time we were intimate..." She blushed suddenly, biting her lip.

"When I got you gasping and moaning." he chuckled, "OHHHHH I remember and VERY well." he teased her.

"So do I...after that...I...I couldn't get you out of my mind. I wanted so badly to see you again even though I knew it was wrong. I know that seems crazy..." She admitted as she blushed feeling almost ashamed of her admission.

"It is crazy....because we are both crazy." he chuckled, kissing her, "No need to hold your head in shame Lilah.....its NOTHING to be ashamed of."

"You charmed me the moment I first laid eyes on you...I am so glad we ended up here. Together." She touched his cheek gently and kissed him back.
