Jori X Klotho

Klotho scoffed and went about her duties in silence. They would be back at the tavern tomorrow to gather some recruits. The ginger soothed her stomach enough so she could rest, but the next morning she was hanging her head over the side gaging and puking again.

Once they arrived back to the base, Jori headed to his store room where the gold and other collations were kept from the plunders of his and his crews journeys across and around the sea.

Klotho headed to the galley again to prep somemore tea for her queasy stomach. She left the galley with her tea in hand and a blanket around her shoulders for warmth. It was cold on the ship in the early morning. She looked around below deck and found Jori plundering around in the store room of treasure. "What are you up to down here?"

"I come in here to check over everything and make sure now FOOL tries to think they can sneak anything." he said, "I know EVERY item in here."

"EVERY item you say?" She asked curiously looking around at all the jewels and gold lying around or neatly put away in bags and chests. "I swear, you are worse than a greedy dragon guarding its treasure." She chuckled and sipped her tea.

"There are from YEARS of plundering and slaving." he said, "And I've had idiots who think they could HELP themselves." he said. he picked up a polished amethyst pendant and handed it too her, "But you've earned a piece." he said.

Klotho walked inside and looked around amazed at the collection he had amassed over the years. "It's quite impressive actually. You have enough gold and jewels here to retire now if you wanted to." She said looking at a gorgeous Amethyst pendant that caught her eye. She moved on and placed her cup of tea on the table. She turned around and saw Jori with the pendant in hand.

"You're giving this to me?" She asked wondering why he was suddenly being nice to her again.

"Maybe....but I'm still young and I've still go an itch to explore and collect as much as possible." he grinned. "And yes I am. Because I want to."

"Well...thank you." She touched the polished gem with her fingers and admired its beauty. "Would you mind helping me get it on?" She asked and handed it out to him.

He looked at her, ".....I guess." he got the pendant back and got it around her neck, "There."

She turned around and let the blanket fall off her shoulders. She held her hair out of the way and let him put it on her. Once it was on, she turned around to let him see it on her. It fit her well and hung perfectly between her collar bones.

He looked at it against her fair skin, "It would look better against your TRUE skin tone." he said.

It took her a few seconds longer than normal, but she was able to release her cloaking magic and let her true skin tone shine through. "Better now?" She asked.

"Much." he went to leave the room, "Well? I'm not locking you in here." he said.

"Relax, I'm coming." She walked out in front of him leaving the treasure room. "I hope we get a good turn out at the tavern. We need all the men we can get since that bitch and her soldiers took out most of our crew." She grit her teeth and walked beside Jori as they went walked up the stairs to the top deck.

"I know. It will bring plenty of fools looking for work." he said, "But I need GOOD, strong arms to work on my ship."

"You need to see what's making you to be sick. You need to be 100% tomorrow." he added on.

"Stop worrying about me. I can handle myself just fine." The ginger tea she was drinking all morning seemed to do the trick. "The tea worked and I feel better. We are just recruiting a bunch of humans, what could go wrong?" She said not worried at all.

"I'm NOT worried." he said, "I need you well incase of trouble."

"In that case, stop nagging. You sound like my mother. I can take on anything that comes my way, sick or not." She said.

"Oh don't call me a 'mother'." he said, "Come on, we need to get some food in our bellies."

"Yes, please. I am starving. Puking so much has left my stomach empty." She said. "But before we do, I forgot something..."

He looked at her, "Forgot what?" he asked her.

Klotho turned around and approached Jori. Without a word, she grabbed his cheeks gently and kissed his lips with a possessive force that sent them back against the wall.

He was caught off guard a bit but he didn't pull away, kissing her back and a possessive arm wrapped around her waist.

Her fingers trailed down his neck and laced together on the back of his neck as she deepened their kiss. She tasted him and tugged on his lower lip. "My thanks for the gift...no one shows gratitude quite like I do." She said before going back to kissing him feverishly.
