Streets: Zaniel & Talia

The moment he hugged her tightly and brought her down to lay next ti him in bed. She felt so comfortable. She hugged and back, dropping her teddy as she nuzzled into his chest. Still light tears dripping from her eyes. She laughed a bit as she forgot what it was like to cry for someone you cared about and loved. "Honestly. I wasn't sure I could go back to a normal life. But I honestly didn't think I'd live the amount of time I was there. Usually girls who are in this industry either commit suicide, or get killed within two years of working. So I'm glad to be alive still. But I honestly don't know how to do normal things. So if I worked for a company, who knows how I'll behave."She told him honestly. "I didn't see it, but I figured if I was dead it didn't matter."She said.

She took in his scent as she enjoyed the smell of him. He was clean, fresh and she could just sleep. She was beyond tired with no sleep in the last day or so. She looked up at him as she wiped the tears and smiled.

She had a feeling things weren't going to be easy, but if she could get a hug like this, without the intention that he wanted to sleep with her. She was happy. She was content. She could do this and she could stay strong. "We probably need to go shopping."She said as she looked at him. "Do you just enjoy being shirtless around me or is that just a normal thing?"She teased as she leaned up and gave him a small kiss on his cheek. "Daddy."She teased, calling him like she used too.

He held her close, "Its not who you are anymore.....we've....pulled each other out of a dark place." he said, a hands lightly moved through her blonde locks, "You are an I survived the darkest parts of the streets....and we'll help each other through this new road." he said and he kissed her, his hand holding her face. He just held her close as he chilled out there with her, her natural scent file chis nostril from her blonde hair.

Sure he wanted to take her there there and then, but he knew she was not in the mood and was probably best to get some time to recover and relax after the night before. He chuckled, "Yeah, probably best get that done." he smiled, "Could be both." he said to tease back. He got shiver hearing that, "......Might get you saying that while.....havin fun." he chuckled.

Talia smirked, "Sure thing... Daddy."She stated whispering in his ear. She laughed as she pulled away from his warm as she motioned for him to get dressed. "Come on.... Lets go get the food."She said as she got a small sweater that hugged her body and her breast nicely. She looked at the watch and saw that it was still early. She knew her dad didn't come home till late, but she was hoping to nap a bit later. Maybe with Zaniel if he could.

She turned to him and smiled, "Thank you... for Saving me."She said softly. Her eyes shined a bit brighter than before. They had more life to them. She look beautiful, almost like a soft glow around her. She was sincerely happy again. She leaned and got on her tip toes and kissed his lips in a sweet manner. She wasn't sure if they could ever say they loved each other. But that would take time.

He chuckled and got up and finally put on a shirt. And he got his shoes on too and he looked at the little get up she and on, and smirked keep it quiet for now. He smiled a there, "Anytime Babe....anytime." he stood but he chuckled a little and kissed her back. He brushed himself off, "Hey, we'll drive my bike back to my place and we'll switch over for my car, might be easier for shopping." he suggested. "If ya good with that?" he asked.

Talia nodded. "Yeah thats fine."She said softly. She went downstairs as she went to kitchen to make a note of what items to get. She looked into the fridge and made mental note. She looked in the pantry and made more notes. She nodded as she grabbed her bag. She looked at him and smiled, "Come on. The earlier we get there there might be some specials."She said. as she opened the door. The sun was shinning as she stretched. She was still tired, but she had a small boost of energy. She waited for him to come out of the house as she locked the door behind her.

She met him at his bike as she looked at him. She got the helmet he gave her as she got on behind him. Holding his waist.

Once ready to head out, they headed on to his bike, got prepped and then got riding off to his house. Eventually they parked in the garage and he got the helmut set aside and went in to check what they needed and wrote a quick list himself and got his own car keys, coming back out lickty split. " Let's get goin' then." he smirked headed over to the car.

He came out of the garage and he opened the front passenger door for her, "Let's get this goin." he smirked. Once they were ready he got driving out, "Soooo a different place or our usual spot?" he asked.

Talia blushed when he opened the door for her. She wasn't used to being treated like a lady. She nodded as she got in and put her seat belt on as she looked at the Subaru. She knew how much Jay liked the cars. They were good cars.

She remember the day that she found a journal that Jay left for Zaniel. She was a bit curious to see if he read it. She saw him get into the car and start the engine. "Can I ask you something... The Journal that Jay left. Were you able to get a chance to read it?"She asked him curiously. "And if so.... what did it say?"She asked.

That journal she remember that because she would sometimes see Jay writing in it, but she never really asked. Now that he was gone, the curiosity ate at her a bit.

"Yeah?" he said as he was driving. "A little of it." he said, "...What I've seen of it, he was writing how he missed his family but knew he didn't want to get caught in the middle of this world, and he didn't want baby girl, Chantel getting involved in the world, wanting her safe more than anything.....not wanting her to be...like his working girls.....didn't look like he knew our mother ran off at all.......if he knew....I honestly don't know if he would have cared or not...." he said, "I think he was concerned I would hate him....he wasn't wrong..." he said.

"But that's all i've read so far." he said.

Talia nodded as they drove to the store. She looked out the window. "Before Jay got heavy in the drugs. He was a pretty good boss to work for. He cared for his girls. It wasn't till he met Trayvon that he got worse and worse. It was hard watching him kill himself."She said softly.

"I would never want Chantel involved in what I did."She said. "I want her to have a dream, a passion, something to look forward to in life."She said. "And thats one thing I'll applaud Jay for, how he put aside all that money for you guys. So you can give her that."She said looking at him. She smiled. She knew it was a hard conversation. "You're doing the best you can for you're siblings. I'm glad I could help when I can."She said.


She saw him park the car as she got out of the car. She went around the car and looked at him. She smiled as she reached and held his arm. Her breast squishing his arm. She looked up and smiled at him. "One day you should cook for me at you're place. It'll be fun."She told him.

His hand tightened on the wheel hearing that name, "Please....don't mention that name.....I am trying to forget all about him." "....I don't doubt what you saw of him in the past.....but he chose what he chose....nothing we can do to help that now...and make sure our own roads are clear." he said glancing at her now and then, but watched the road as he drove.

"That was why i never told her what I got up to, Zion had an idea but again never told him anythin." he said, "I am grateful he did so too, but i'm still angry he never came to even TALK to me..." he said with a sigh. When they arrived to the shopping grocery store and he parked, getting out and inhaled deeply to calm down. He looked to her, feeling her boobies against his arm, "......." he chuckled, "Not afraid of fried food are ya?"

Talia blinked as she didn't realized that she was pretty hungry herself. "I'm not... But with you in training don't you think you should look at more protein than fried?"She asked him missing the point he was making.

She hugged his arm as they walked to the groceries. She noticed the people looking and glancing at her. More so older people since thats the only time they came to shop. She se them whispering to on another. She still felt awkward as she slowly just easy off his arm and just held his hand. Being public and being affection was something she had to learn to adjust.

"Also... sorry for mentioning him."She said softly, "I didn't mean to upset you."She said softly as she looking down.

"I just....enjoyed friend food. But I can get something else in there." he chuckled sheepishly, "I don't eat it everyday if that's what you mean?" he said, "I was meaning you EAT fried food, don't ya?" he asked, "Cause i make a mean fresh fish and chicken." he said in a cocky manner. He looked around seeing there other whispering and he rolled his eyes and got her hand and got her walking with him, "Ignore em. They are not us."

"Its fine....its still a little raw is all." he said, shrugging, "Come on, let's get out shop on." he smiled at her.

Talia blushed as she looked down, "Yeah... Sorry."She said softly trying her hardest to ignore their whispers.

She got herself a small basket as she looked at him, "I wouldn't mind coming over for Fish and Chicken. I like both."She smiled.

They slowly started to get certain items they needed for their own house. Talia was down the veggie isle as she looked at some of the freshness. She felt a hand go around her waist as she giggled as she turned to see if it was Zaniel and saw that it wasn't. It was Marlon.

Her skin went Pale as she saw him, "M-Marlon.... Long time no see."She said softly. Her body frozen not sure what to do. She pulled away from him out of immediate action.

The tall blond looked at the young girl. "I thought it was you... I haven't seen you at the place. I was worried."He stated. "What happen?!"He asked her almost backing her into a corner.

Talia gulped as she felt her body shiver, but she looked behind her to see Zaniel glaring at the guy. "Marlon. I'm not sure if you've seen the news but I'm under house arrest at the moment. I really can't talk at the moment."She said.

Marlon narrowed his eyes at her. Ignoring the scary aura behind him, "Yeah... I saw. Had I got to you sooner you woulnd't be in this mess. We could be married."He stated looking at her.

Talia felt her eyes getting cold. She stood up as she hated people cornering her. "Listen. I don't you I can't talk about. Now if you would excuse me I have to get back to shopping."She shoved him out of the way and gripped Zaniels wrist taking him away. "Lets go"She whispered as she felt her body slowly regain the color. "They rounded the corner as she felt her heart almost stop. "God that scared me..."She gasped as she wasn't sure why her body was shaking.

"I'll arrange it sometime." he smiled and winked at her. "Don't apologise. I'm not sorry at all." he said. he got a cart for them and was grabbing what he needed along with her, getting what she needed." he smiled, just happy to shop without a thought to looking behind his shoulder to be sure someone is not looking to sneak up on him or something. He sighed in a relaxed way. But that relaxed feeling VANISHED when he saw some GUY with his arms round Talia's waist and he frowned, approaching them.

"Excuse me, but BACK up." he said, getting between Marlon and Talia. He heard that marriage talk, "What?"" he looked to her as she pulled him by the wrist, "Talia! What's going on?" he asked. Once they were out and out of sight, he got pulling his hand from her, "Oi!" he was stronger and was able to pull his wrist free. "WHAT, IS. GOING. ON?" he asked her seriously.

Talia was a bit scared when he raised his voice at her. "That was a client of mine back at the place. The last time he came to see me was the day of when this whole stupid thing started. He was going to get a divorce with his wife or whatever and wanted to be with me. But I never took him seriously. He was just a client."She told him honestly. "But I never imagined seeing him in a more public place."She told him looking up at him. "I would never consider marrying someone who used to pay me for Sex."She told him honestly. Granted that ment she probably didn't see marrying Zaniel anytime soon.

But she was still adjusting. "I don't care for him. I care about you. I'm not going to marry him. Plus he didn't even know my full name till you just blurted it out!"She said narrowing her eyes, but doing her best to calm down. "S-sorry. I was freaked out. I thought it was you grabbing my waist, but than I saw him and my mind just got really scared. I don't like seeing my clients in public places. It even scared me when I saw you a day after I serviced you too."She said looking at him.

".........." he had a feeling he was a former client, "............" he sighed. He didn't feel relieved, not yet. "....You should have just told him no at the beginning, he'll TAKE that seriously then." he said, knowing a guy's mind. "......I see." he felt something.....hurt inside him hearing that, but it was understandable.

"I got hold of you cause you're MY GIRL......I TOLD you I take that SERIOUSLY! I AIN'T PLAYIN!" he growled at her and panted and backed up, needing to calm down. ".........I GET you got freaked out, but DOn't get angry at ME when i am acting as I SHOULD to someone I THINK is getting FRESH with MA GURL!" he frowned at her.

Talia looked at Zaniel as she could understand his feeling. But wth him angry, she wasn't sure what to do. She looked at Zaniel as she looked at him, "I... I'm sorry."She said softly as she tried to reach for his hand, but thought against in. She didn't want to anger him more. And being in the relationship completely new, she wasn't sure what the right direction it was to comfort him. Or at least to easy his worries.

"I do care a lot about you.... I wouldn't have risked my life or prison if I didn't. I wouldn't be going against my dad's house arrest if I didn't."She told him seriously. "And if that doesn't show you how serious I take this relationship with you. Than I don't know what will."She whispered as she looked at him. Her eyes feeling hurt, and a bit cold. That warm feeling gone. "I'm still new to trusting and being in a relationship with you. I honestly don't know whats right reaction. I appreciate you protecting me and looking out for me and I'm sorry. "She said softly up at him.


She took the basket as she started to walk down the isle to get the rest of the shopping done in quiet. She sighs as she wasn't sure how to make things better, but she knew when it came to him. That he needed to calm down and think. She just had to give him space.

"..............." he took a deep breath and exhaled aloud, ".........Its fine. Its not your fault he showed up......But I'll swear...if he shows up again and he touches you....He's gonna get smacked down." he said seriously.

"I believe you Talia....I didn't say i didn't.." he sighed, "I haven't forgotten." he pouted a bit looking away. "...........I am too Talia......and I don't trust easily with ANYONE.....you're the first I'm trusted anything with beside my siblings and uncle........." he said. He sighed as she walked on with her basket. He followed with the cart behind her, feeling like he went too harsh on her.

Talia stopped as turned look at him. "i forgive you...."she said softly as her racing heart calmed down. she looked and saw he calmed himself down. She reached for his hand and had a small pout on her own face wanting to still hold his hand. "Come on.... lets get this over with."She said softly.


The warmth in her eyes hasn't come back, but she was still a little freaked out being noticed in public again. At this rate she'd rather just stay at home and no go anywhere public if it means some of her clients seeing her. She sighs as she knew it wouldn't be easy to adjust back to a normal life, but adding a new boyfriend on top of that. She was just asking for trouble. Especially an over protective one like him.


She looked at him as she still cared for him. But she had to cut ties with all her old clients if it meant keeping him happy. She would do that first thing tomorrow morning. She was afraid of what the future would hold. As she was still deep in though, she was forgeting a few thigns that she made a mental note of as she blinked and saw that she went down a few isels without picking up anything,:Oh... damnit..."She groaned as she knew she had to go back and pick up a few things.

He accepted her hand and he held it as they went along. He agreed and they got what they needed, purchased it then got it packing in the car. Once all was packed he opened her door again for her and then went on to his side of the car, "I'll take ya home then." he said, gutting his belt fastened and what not. While they were driving, it was quiet and he hated it. "...................I'm sorry for shouting." he said to her, not looking to her, since he was driving.

".......We're still figuring ourselves and us along with road....we don't need to rush anything.....but I care bout ya, that I'm sure of......" he said to her.

Talia nodded, "Its okay.... I'm sorry too."She said softly. But just looked outside the window as they were driving.

She noticed that he got her home safely. She took off her seat belt and opened the door and started to get her stuff. "I'll get you're clothes. They should be done."She said as she tried to adjust and look for her keys. She found them as she opened up the door. She started by setting her stuff on the table top. She than went to the laundry room to get his clothes out. She got them out of the dry and went back outside. She gave him his clothes as she looked at him with a small sad smile.

"I might see you at training tomorrow. Depends if dad will have it."She said. She leaned in and gave him a small peck on the cheek. "I'll see you later."She whispered as she started to head back inside her house.

"Oh..yeah.." he said, he forgot he had clothes being washed, "Did ya want help?" he offered. He felt his heart sink a little seeing her expression when she came back out with his dry clothes. "Yeah....see you then." he said, watching her go in. He slumped against his seat and sighed, 'Fucking idiot Zaniel......' he scolded himself and he got driving off.

He got home and got unpacking the shopping, getting that down pretty quick. He sighed more and more, sitting at the kitchen table leaning into his hand....just thinking hard on many thing really.

A while later, he was prepping for dinner, making chilli. Bullet was just laying on the rug int he sitting area where the couches and tv stood. Zaniel had some music playing to distract him from thinking on what happened today.

Talia was laying in her bed as she sighs. She wanted to nap, her body and her mind were screaming that she was tired, but she just couldn't sleep. She turned over as she pulled a her teddy close to her as she closed her eyes.

Her eyes were red and puffy as she was crying a bit. She looked and saw that it was almost dinner time and that she should start something for herself. She knew her dad would be home late tonight. She started making something simple like a salad. She ate the simple meal, did her dishes, but something tugged at her heart strings too much. She wanted that warmth that she had earlier back. 'god I'm so stupid...'she thought. She went back upstairs and crawled back into bed, just wanting to sleep.


She hugged her teddy closer as she noticed her phone. She thought about doing research on restraining orders against her older clients. She shook her head to forget about the thoughts. She reached for her phone as she texted Zaniel. "Are we okay?"She texted him. Worried that this would make this akward between the two of them.

Zaniel didn't hear his phone, due to the music and it was sitting on the side table in his his room, still busy making dinner before his siblings got home form their after school activities. He was also prepping a salad, since his sister was getting more and more serious on her dancing wants and kept wanting more healthy food. He sighed, still couldn't help thinking about Talia and hoping she was alright. '........She didn't say much when she went in...' he thought to himself.

Talia waited a bit hoping to get a response, few minutes gone by, and still nothing. She was just sitting there staring at her phone. She sighs as she put her phone down and turned on her side, away form her phone as she hugged her pillow and her teddy. She tried to think of reasons why he wasn't answer her text, but she just kepting having worse and worse thoughts. She decided to ignore it and go to the bathroom looking for some sleep aid medication. She noticed her Melatonin in her cabinet as she took one pill and got into comfy clothes and sleep.

She closed her eyes, but all she could think about was why Zaniel didn't reply back yet. She shook her head as she hugged her teddy, pulling the covers over her head as she slept.
