Origins of Saluna

Benjamin-headed out of the village* it's ok buddy...the Haze isn't as bad as you think...I can navigate it alright, plus it's main dangers won't bother us any more

Travelling on through the has for maybe....half the morning, the sun had started to fade, a storm had been rolling in this early early this morning. The sound of thunder rumbling behind him. The haze seemed to...lessen for some reason. Then a familiar chatting sound came from the right and the same little spider he met at his camp peaked out of the bushes.

Benjamin-oh...it's you again *He looked down* how was the head?

It got climbing up the tree and it got lowering itself down behind him on the horse, small enough to sit comfortable sit there.

Benjamin-well...easy not to spook the horse but I guess you can travel with me

It chittered again, just cleaning its self happily.

Benjamin-don't know if I get a bear don't know if I can get you a head, but I'll hunt something small that'll be just for you

It chittered and climbed up his back and half perched on his head, peaking over to see ahead of them.

Benjamin-was surprised at first but he got used to it quick*

The little fella stay like that the rest of the way, seeming to have taken a liking to the young Hunter. Then thunder and lighting flashes and rumbled right over them.

Benjamin-Damn? don't worry you two, a camp is near by for hunters...we'll head there for the night *he spurred the horse and it hurried to the building.

The horse got trotting along a little faster and eventually they reached the campsite and he was surprised to find a new shelter was made and a fire was going and a couple of rabbits were roasting on a spit over.

Benjamin-is someone here? *He hopped off the horse and got him set up in a warm shelter, with plenty of water and food for it, then went to investigate the campsite* ...no one should be in this area...*He smirked and shook his head* So...Saluna I presume is here

The spider jumped off his head and landed on the nearby tree and out from behind the same tree came Saluna, "I see you trust the little spiderling?" she giggled, "Good, the others stayed away with her being with you." she said, "And YES, Saluna is here." I had over heard your little plan the other day and left for this spot the other night." she smirked. "My mother will not bother me here...well she's on a trip anyway." he shrugged.

Benjamin-your mother...doesn't really like people does she?

"Only certain people." she said with a grin. "I've not told her about you." she said, "I'm 16 and grown enough to watch myself." She said as she got turning the rabbits on the spit and smeared a herbed laced oil over them, letting off a good smell. "So I figured You'd be hungry and cold." she smirked.

Benjamin-*he sat down by the fire, shelter shielding them from the rain* So...why do you follow me so much, if you don't mind me asking, why would someone like me interest you?

"Not many are brave enough to face the Haze more than once and LIVE to tell about it." she said, "Plus I like you feistiness." she smirked, meaning him in the bathtub.

Benjamin-so you like someone who is willing to challenge you a bit *He looked at her*

"I like men who don't act like pussies." she chuckled.

Benjamin-hmm *He only grunted and tended to the fire* Regardless, tomorrow I need to hunt a bear to make sure my family will be ok, the Mayor of our Village has been eyeing my Mother...he's not someone we enjoy the company of, but he has influence to mess with my family

He paused hearing about him, "Oh is he now? Sounds like an unpleasant fucker." she said, her tone sounds a little tiffed.

Benjamin-he bares no mind to my little brother when he looks upset, but when I show up he backs off...sometimes I'm afraid to leave for long hunts but I need too

".......I could hall you with that if you would like?" she said, "I've...little tricks to keep unwanteds away." she walked over, "But of course I can't do that for free."

Benjamin-no, it's my problem and I'll handle it.
