The Beginning of Madness

"That might take a long time." said Frank, "Yeah, who would trust a bunch of urchins?" asks the new kid.

Jori-it'll work out, just leave it to me, besides, we'll just have to work hard for a few years...till the right time to strike and take over

"...We'll need bigger numbers." said Frankie, "Not much of crew with three."

Jori-I'll take care of that *He was very charismatic, it was easy for him to get people to follow him* Pretty soon we'll be in charge of our own destinies

"........Then what's first Boss?" asks Frank.

Jori-we scout...we spread out...and we for ma group, a larger group.

"Sounds good." said Frank. For the next couple months they got gathering as many urchins that were brave enough to come join them. Once they got a good group of a dozen similar aged boys, they all stayed at the old house and took it in turns in groups to do pick pocketing, stealing and helping one another in escaping authorities. This went on for the next four years....

Jori had become the leader of these misfits and soon word spread to pirates who were looking to recruit a crew*

A crew with a good ship had come to port looking to recruit on the island.

Jori smirked as a few of his gang told him about the Ship* Well...I say we go check it out, how about it Frank?

"Sounds like a pan to me Boss." he chuckled.

Jori-smirked and they headed over to the Bar in town, keeping an eye and ear out*

They got into the tavern and they all casually sat down at a table, getting a couple pints of ale. The pirate that was looking for recruits spotted them and motioned them over, "You looking for work?"

Jori-we may...what does this work offer? *he took a drink*

"We are in need of cabin boys, cooks and cargo haulers and to keep the deck clean. Its not an ordinary ship." he said.

Jori-I may have a group that could assist...I'll send word...tell us where your ship is docked and I'll bring them around.

"You've a got a big group?" he asked him.

Jori-I got quite a few yes *He was being vague*

"Very well. The ship is a dark wood ship, the only one in the dock. The cap'n will be there to talk to you and see you all soon." he said.

Jori-nodded and finished his drink* Lets go grab the crew *He told Frank

He nodded and they got their 12 strong group together.

Jori and his gang started to head towards the docks and came across the boat that was mentioned* Not bad...looks pretty decent

"Could use a revamp." chuckled Frank.

Jori-that's fine, I'm sure you'll get it all nice and fixed up for your captain.

Frank chuckled, "In due time."
