"YOU just KILLED BYSTANDER JUST THEN! YOU'VE PROVED MY POINT!" Kira growled back.

"Kira don't talk to her!!" Dimitri growled at his sister.

Dimitri glared at the fox demon trying to NOT respond to this demon. Kira on the other hand was angry, "YOU WILL KEEP MY BABY OUT OF IT! IT WON'T END UP LIKE YOU! Not ALL humans are like that, YOU are the one SEEKING out the one AFTER your situations! YOU are the one killing people who you are luring in like a worm on a fishing pole!"

"KIRA SHUT UP!!" Dimitri, he got his sword to the demon's throat, but he hadn't striked yet. The blade touching her neck, burning her skin from him treating his sword with.

The demon fox could feel the pay on her neck with the demon repellant on his blade, "Go ahead..." She smirked, "Do it" she challenged.

She knew she got the young girl already. "Well?!" She waited. She was done with her pointless life. She was done and she really didn't see a point. She waited.

Kira growled, "KILL HER DIMITRI!"

Dimitri looked at the demon pushing his sister's shouting out, not wanting her aggressive energy to affect him. He spun his sword to the hilt and hit the demon in the middle of her forehead and knocked her out, a Seal that was engaged on the pommel of his blade not bruised into her skin, A hunters mark of slumber.

Kira came over and saw the mark, "WHAT have you been dealing with while I was gone?" she frowned.

"......I say we bring her to the southern lord and let HIM deal with her." he said simply.

"ARE YOU KIDDING?" Kira growled.

"CUT. IT. OUT." said Dimitri, DO you HEAR yourself right now...you used to be SILENT! You're NOT to show emotion during you hunts and you're NOT in the right mind!" Dimitri said.

"........" Kira turned her back on her brother.

The demon fox was out cold, her slumbering body looking very beautiful.

Erebus could feel Kira agitation, "great..." He grumbled. he wasn't sure what went wrong, but he knows that He didn't know how he could help easy the aggravation.

He sighs as he got up from his chair in the study and opened a portal to the Southern Demon lord palace. He could see in the distance Both humans walking up to the palace. One had a demon fox in toll. He could sense that she wasn't dead, 'so thats why...' he thought, keeping his thoughts to himself. He looked over at them both, noticing they weren't talking to each other. He shrugged as he figured they'd work it out.

Dimitri and Kira walked through the portal, Dimitri was carrying the demoness as they did. Anger RADIATED off Kira, she was NOT happy with her brother right now OR the fact he left the target alive.

".....SHe'll remain out cold as long as I wish her to." Dimitri said to the southern Lord as he laid her on the floor before him. ".........." he stepped back.

Alperer was a bit shocked to see the demon out cold. He looked at the two hunters, one was clearly upset at the other. He turned to Erebus. "Uh.... I thought I stated to kill her... why do you bring her to me?" He asked a little annoyed, 'humans...' he thought.


Erebus had a his hand to his face as he looked at the two. "I don't know I didn't go on this... This was all them." He looked at them both. His eyes narrowed, "So... if she's out cold. Why did you keep her alive?" he asked Dimitri. He didn't want to ask Kira since she was already in a bad mood as it is. "You had one order, and it was to kill the demon. You hesitated... why?" He asked.

Dimitri looked at Alperer, "She's been a pest to you hasn't she? Why not deal with her yourself now she can't do anything? I told you she can't do anything now. OR you could do something else to her....I KNOW you demon lords have the ability to pull the powers out of demons as a punishment." he said to him, not worried about his temper.

Kira could look at them, "......My anger got to me....Hunters are NOT to kill in anger or revenge or just BECOME the creatures we hunt.." said Kira, "...That's WHY I couldn't do it....." she also didn't want to harm Dimitri in the process since he doesn't kill demons when under the spell of the 'Hunter's slumber.' mark. "That's OLD hunting magic he's used....I can't go against it." Kira added.

Alperer looked at Dimitri and not liking his Attitude. He kept his anger in check the moment he noticed Faith coming in. He looked at him, "I'm not the agressive Demon lord type. Most demo lords are not what you read in the book, Unlike Erebus he should be killing everything in contact, but he doesn't... Demons have self control. Rogues on the other hand don't." He stated, "I hired you because I was told By lord Erebus that his mate was the best huntress... " He stated as he sighs and looked at Erebus and looked at the demon pass out.

Erebus sighs as he wanted to strangle them both, "We'll take her.... We won't take you're payment as these two idiots clearly don't know what the fuck their doing." He growled as he picked up the rogue demon, "My apologizes Lord Alperer, I honestly believed these two had more to it than I imagine.... Shows I don't know my own Mate." He said clearly disappointed in Kira, and pissed off at Dimitri. He opened up the port and glared at them both, "Either you take the portal now or I'll make you walk to to the norther region." He stated really really pissed off but holding his anger in.

Dimitri glared back, "We ARE the best. But we KNOW when its right to right someone in cold blood or not. And if I killed her how she is now...it would just that. I am only here because my sister needed back up. If we didn't do the job to your satisfaction then TAKE back your gold and we'll never bother you again." Dimitri said in a no nonsense tone. He picked up the demoness and headed to the portal.

Kira looked to Erebus, ".............I'm walking." she headed to the front doors.

"Kira! You're pregnant!" said Dimitri, "DOn't be a hardass right now!"

She ignored him and got her hood on heading to the door, not wanting them to see her eyes welling up out of embarrassment and anger. "SIS!" he called out again.

Erebus sighs as he quickly got his women and picked her up like a sack of potatoes as he looked at Dimitri with a glare at his completely and utter disrespect, "You can walk... " He glared as he got The port and went through it, leaving Dimitri there. closing it behind him.

He looked down at Kira as he noticed her face. He placed her down as he took her hood down, "What happened." He asked in a calm voice. He was more pissed off with Dimitri. He didn't like her little brother, but did his best to give him a chance. That chance to him was over.

He patted her hair, "Are you hurt?" he asked her softly

"WAHH!! NO! PUT ME THE FUCK DOWN!!" she struggled and hit at his back.

"HEH?!" Dimitri said, "OI! Don' manhan-" he sighed, "I'll leave now." he left, "Sorry we couldn't meet your needs." he said to Alperer and left his home and Carried this demoness with him out of the doors, ".....what do i do with you?" he wondered.

"EREBUS!!! PUT ME DOWN!!" she growled as she was finally set down and pulled away, "I WANTED TO WALK!" she growled again, pulling her hood back on, not wanting her face seen right now.

"I'm ANGRY! I didn't want to be CROWDED!!" she said not wanting to be touched. "I'm to the point I am SO EMBARRASSED I COULD DIE!!! I DON'T KNWO WHAT HAPPENED OR WHY IT DID!!!! I-I-" she got crying aloud and slumped to the floor.

Erebus looked down at her as he wasn't sure what to do. He sighs as he decided to get her something he knew she's like. He went to his office as it was right there, grabbed a blanket and rapped it around her gently. He also had a package for her, "These are from twiska... I ate one." He stated as they were chocolate cover Strawberries. He couldn't resist.

He looked down and noticed that short time, her bump was getting a bit bigger, 'maybe a child is too much for you now...' he told her mentally. 'especially a half breed' he said.

He waited for her to calm down, patting her back gently.

Alperer watched as the Hunter took the demoness away, "Well I guess I could give them the payment since they did took the problem away." He stated to Faith.

Faith looked at her Lord and smiled, "That would be nice." She said softly.

Alperer smiled gently, "Come now... let us dine..." he stated as he motioned for her to follow.

Kira just kept on crying when he left her to get the blanket, she ripped her gear belt an hood off, deeming herself Not worthy to carry anything of a hunter now. She felt a tingly feeling in her stomach and she looked to see it had bulged a little more, "....................Easy little one.....I'm alright......" she sniffed talking to her belly.

She passed looking at him when she was engulfed by the blanket and sniffed looking at him, ".............................." she saw the gift and sighed, ".....thank you.......but...eating is not on my mind right now...." she knew he was trying to cheer her up, but she just wasn't wanting anything to eat at this point.

"I....just want to sleep at this point.......I'm never working as a hunter again..." she walked past him with the blanket around her.

Meanwhile Dimitri had made camp in a forest area and had bound the demoness with special bindings and her leaned against a tree. He good before her with his blade and held the pommel to her forehead, "Waken." he said breaking the spell of slumber.

Erebus narrowed his eyes, "the more you talk like that.. .you're right, you don't have a right." He stated. He looked at her with a serious expression "I don't know what happened, or what you did. But even i can feel you're energy getting agitated easily." He said. He noticed she calm down a bit as he took a bite of the strawberry.

He gulped it down as he motioned for her sleep it off, "I'm not saying never be a hunter again. But maybe just think about it. You're brain isn't int he same mind set as it was before you mated with a demon... But it shouldn't have changed that much."

he waited for her to crawl in their bed. He covered her up, "I'm going to talk to Alperer. and you're brother.... well I'm banning him from my castle. He's disrespected me for the last time. He's disrespected my own peers. He' fucking embarrassed me. I could strangle him at this point, but if you want to see him... thats on you. He's never coming to this castle... Do you understand." He stated with a firm voice, Not angry, just stern.

"...........................That bitch goaded me and I was angry.......I don't know what's wrong with me......I...I really don't know and its scares me that I DO NOT KNOW!" she held her head, "...I......just don't know...........I guess being....in the life of a demo has...rubbed off on me..?" she just wasn't sure.

She got in bed and tried to settle down, but the moment he mention about Dimitri, "That's NOT your call! He's my brother, so I'll decided what's to be done with him." she said. "And DO not talk to me like I'm some child, i get the point you're annoyed with him and I am too! But if you ban him I'll be MISERABLE." she said. "I'm sleeping in the spare room...." she said, getting up and heading to the room her brother was in before.

Erebus was on his last breaking point. The vein in his head ready to pop, "I FUCKING GIVE YOU EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER WANT. AND NOT ONLY DO I TRY TO FUCKING BE NICE TO YOU, YOU'RE STILL A BITCH!"

He grabbed her wrist in a harsh manner, hurting her in the process not carrying, as he grabbed towards the dungeons as he grabbed the keys, a dungeon he kept incase he had to resort to his old ways. He opened the cell and threw her in. He glared at her as he was done. He glared as he locked the doors as he started to walk away, 'Fucking ungrateful wench...' he thought as he didn't care. He slammed the dungeons doors.

He growled as he needed to calm down as he decided to go to a bar in hell and unwind.

"HUH!! EREBUS!!! STOP!" she glared and she kicked him in the head, "LET ME FUCKING GO!!" she growled. She was wasn't going to let him manhandle her again, "STOP IT!!" she struggled the whole way to the dungeon, she hit collided with the wall when he threw her in. "Ah! You fucker!" she glared as he closed the door.

"LET ME THE FUCK OUT!!! EREBUS!!!! YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!!!" she growled and shouted.

"....................Mother fucker...." she growled again looking around her cell, ".................................No. I'm NOT staying this time." she got looking around the cell.

Erebus was already down a couple drinks as he gasp. Hard alcohol as he shook his head, 'damn that bitch...' he thought as he drowned another. He looked down at his mating marks as he felt hurt, He didn't noticed someone sitting next to him.

"Long time no see old friend." the voice called.

He turned and noticed Beuro's order a couple rounds for them, "Wife kick you out?" he asked with a teasing grinn.

Erebus huffed, "Locked her in a dungeon.... pissed me off for the last time." He stated.

Beuro looked at him seriously, "You do realize that'll just make her want to leave you right?" he stated "I thought you two were doing well." He stated.

Erebus laughed as he took another drink, "Are you FUCKING kidding ME?!" He laughed, "That women could leave me all she wants." He stated no caring as he felt his heart break. Breaking to the point where Kira could feel it in her soul, "no matter what I try to do to make her happy... She's never happy. Honestly if she wants to leave I'll give her that choice." He stated.

Beuro looked at his friend remembering the time this happy with Lilith, but this time, it was real. "You're mate is a little more hot headed than maybe you can take on. I like her." He stated.

Erebus looked over at him, "Than you take her." He said as he drowned another pint as he gasped for air.

Beuro sipped at his, "Nah... Twiska would kill me if that happened. She's very territorial." he stated with a laugh.

Erebus groaned as he felt a headache coming on, "I let her see her brother, I give her missions so she could continue to do the job she loves, I give her a child..." he stated as he just wanted feel miserable.

Beuro patted his shoulders as he ordered another round, "Cheer up you ole bugger." He laughed, "let her calm down. If she leaves, well than you have nothing to worry about." He stated, "You'd be fine." he said.

Erebus looked at him as he smirked, "Maybe..... Thanks." He said softly as he still continued to drink as he knew he could never get her love, no matter what he tried.

After the couple rounds of drinks, he went back home and slept on the floor as he was drunk. He didn't go to bed, He didn't let Kira out. 'probably out by now anywhere ready to kill me' he thought as he shrugged no carrying, 'she can leave' he thought as he passed out on the floor.

Kira growled and she looked artfully around the dungeon, remembering the walls were easy to break down due to being a little on the old side. She found a loose stone and kicked at it until it gave way and she broke away bit by bit until it was a big enough hole to squeeze through.

"WHY did I stay.................." she touched her belly, ".......you and Me little one. We'll do this on our own." she said, headed up to the bedroom, figuring Erebus would have gone out to cool off. She got her back back and got only what she needed, her books, her family cameos, food and her hunters gear.

"If he comes for me.......He's dead." she frowned and got her hood on. The goblin servants saw her packing her stuff, she looked to them, "Sorry for smashing into you little guys. Take care alright?" she said as she headed out of the castle, the goblins waving at her as she left.

Erebus woke as he head pounded hard. He growled as he woke up from the floor. He sat up as he groaned reminding himself never to drink that much again. He took a wiff in the air and noticed that there were no smells, no cooking, "Kira..." He called.

He remember the took her to the dungeon. He went to it quickly as he stomach started to growl. He opened and noticed the cell she was in was busted open and she was gone. He couldn't believe it. She was gone.

He ran racing to their room and noticed everything she took... It was gone, "Fucking serious..." He told himself as he was alone in his own castle.

Lilith smirked as she was behind him, "Did you drive her away?" She asked him.

Erebus quickly turned, feeling his heart shatter in front of her. He growled as he covered it up, "What the hell do you want?" He asked.

Lilith smirked, "Nothing... Just want my palace back..." She smirked, "Now that she's out of the way I can have it right?" She asked him, "Are you hungry?" She asked.

Erebus turned as he felt broken. He didn't care as he glared at her, "Do what you want...." he said.

Lilith smirked as she headed to the kitchen and made his favorite meal. "I'll come get you when it's done." She stated.

Erebus huffed as he went to his office, his head still pounding, thinking this was all just a dream, 'fucking messed up.' he thought.

Kira was far from the village and his mountain by the time he came to, and she was thinking of heading to her home region, but decided to head to her uncles old summer cottage out in the woods, he was passed on now but they went there in the summertime as children, it would be a good spot to stay and raise her child....well that's what she thought.

She arrived at dusk and opened the cottage to find it just a little dusty but nothing she could do herself. She got a fire going and got cleaning the cleaning a little to make sure the bed was good at least.

".....I'll need to make a few things during my time here." she said to herself........but she found it......lonely already. She teared up a little bit and wiped her nose, "I can't go back now......he probably hates my guts and...doesn't care about us......" she touched her belly.

Erebus ate whatever was in front of him. He hasn't shifted out of his demon form. He was angry, and everything frustrated the crap out of him. He destroy the training room he built for her. He shredded the dresses he got for her. He was hurt. He roared as he wanted to kill, but knew that would get him nothing. He turned and noticed Lilith just watching him.

He growled at her, his more human side refusing to come out. She walked up to him seeing this side of him before as she touched his face.

He snapped as he smacked her face, his claws dug making her bleed on his face. Lilith glared at him as her mark healed quickly, "i'm sorry..." She said softly as she walked up to him and hugged him tightly, "It hurts.... But it's her own fault... She left you. You gave her everything she could ask for." She stated.

She reached up to him as she looked into his deep red, now turning black eyes, "I'm just here to help.... okay?" She stated, "Do you want a bath?" She asked him.

Erebus growled lower in his throat, his words not being able to show as his human side was done. He couldn't speak the language. He just groaned and hissed as his body shifted more to the dragon side of him. His wings spread as his despair got to him. He laid down, his head in Lilith.

Lilith smirked as she knew she had him, "Its okay Erebus.... I'm here." She said softly as she stroked his head, "You don't need her."She said trying to make him feel better.

4 MONTHS LATER.......

Kira had established the cottage as her own, not wanting to be around anyone at this time. She was chopping wood for the fire. She had resorted to actually wearing dresses, since the were more comfortable as her bump got bigger. She finally finished the chopping and got some inside. It was into winter now and the only time she met with people was to buy food or cloth from the village a couple miles away.

As she placed the wood down in the house pile she felt the little one kick, "Oof! Hey now....easy. Easy." she rubbed her belly, talking to her child, "......I know. It will be soon." she said, and SOON was coming quick, she knew this would be a problem to birth on her own.

"............Maybe if i ask Twiska?" she thought aloud.

Erebus remained in his dragon from. He was in the dungeon with all his gold laying there. Not doing anything. He hasn't eaten. He hasn't had water. his bones could be clearly seen. he was slowly dying.

Lilith looked as him as she tried to come down, but was hissed at as she backed away. She glared, 'this isn't like him at all.... He hasn't been in this state since I've known him.' she thought.

She tried to figure out where that bitch could have gone, 'damn it... at this rate Erebus will die.' she thought as she felt his dungeon looking for a way. She herd a knock as she rolled her eyes and opened the door. She looked and noticed Beuro and Twiska.

Beruo glared at Lilith, "What are you doing here..." He glared.

Twiska was surprised as she went to Beruo side more.

Lilith smirked, "Taking care of the beast that is in the dungeon. I'm kinda glad you're here... his mate Left him... guess she was fed up and he won't come out of his dragon state. He's been down in the basement with his money. He won't eat or anything." She stated as she let the two in.

Beuro blinked as he went to the dungeon to see for himself. Just as he opened the door, a blast of fire as he jumped out of the way quickly. He could see Erebus weak, his large tail flicker as he was agitated as he growled. Erebus hissed at the intruders not recognizing his friends.

Beuro was baffled. "I've never seen him like this..." he stated amazed.

Lilith rolled her eyes, "Well?!" she asked, "Can you do something or not?! At this rate he'll die from something stupid like starvation." she stated.

Twiska looked at her husband, "Is there a way to Kinda Kira... Maybe she could help." She stated.

Beuro looked at her, "I wouldn't know where to look." He stated.

Twiska tried to remember in there small talks, "Maybe in a cabin where her uncle reside?" She asked.

Beuro thought about it, "We can check." He stated as he hurried with Twiska. He turned to lilith and glared at her, "make sure he doens't do soemthing stupid." He stated.

Lilith laughed, "Right... Like I can do anything." She glared at them both, "Just hurry up... as much as I hate his mate... I him being in this state worse." She watched him closely.

Twiska and Beuro took a portal to Kira's location and noticed a small cabin. "Here?" he asked her.

Twiska looked, "I think so..." She said as he went to the door and knocked.

It was morning and Kira had just come back form the village arraying a sack of dried meats and fish along with root veg. She got inside out of the snow, "Whoo...How's about a salt beef and potato stew tonight?" she rubbed her belly and smiled.

Just as she set the sack down she paused hearing the sound of a portal outside, "................" she glared and got her knife, thinking it was Erebus. 'So's he finally come to kill me?' she thought.
