Streets: Zaniel & Talia

Talia winced as she heard him slam the door. Her body shook out of fear. Not once did Jay raise his voice as Zaniel has done to her. But than again, there was an obvious age difference between the too. She noticed on the camera him walking out. She walked over to the door and locked it. She had small tears run down her face, but her eyes were blank.

She wipped the tears, as she sighs and started back to go throught the paper work. She thankful she packed a lunch as she took it out of the fridge and started to eat it. She felt sick to her stomach as she looked at the food. Sure she had a parent in her life, But she didn't have a Mom. In a way. She's a murder. She killed her mom coming into the world. And she killed the women her father loved. Granted no one blamed her for it, but the guilt still ate at her. 

And she didn't do all this originally for fun. She was a young 14 year old, and didn't know wrong in the world. A guy she was online dating told her to do things, she wanted him happy, and when it got too much, she started to back away, and he black mailed her when she didn't do it right. After all the harassment, bullying, black mail, she was taken out of school, finished at the top of her class at home, and graduated before others. 

It wasn't till Jay found her older stuff. He black mailed her to do more things. Her father was a cop, she didn't want to disappoint him with the naughty and sexual videos. So she kept quiet and did what Jay said. It wasn't easy for her in the beginning, and overtime she became numb. She looked at her food. She couldn't feel the numbing of her body taking over. She lay on Jays desk as she could still smell the smoke. She closed her eyes as she wanted out, but knew she couldn't. She played a vital part of Jay life. She knew her fathers schedule and the cops rotation like the back of her hand. She told all that information to Jay. Confidential information. She sighs as she felt sick to her stomach as she closed her eyes again trying to sleep off the pain.

'Fuck it' she thought as she thought about just giving up, telling her dad everything and busting the whole industry. Putting everyone in Jail. But she didn't. She knew the bitches, and their lives, their pimps, the dealers. They were trying hard to make ends meat to survive. While she came from a well off family. She sighs as she closed her eyes and decided to ignore calls, or anything. Sleeping might help.

Zaniel left the building, slamming the door as he left, he got his hoody on and went walking down the street. He was super pissed an went on somewhere so he could vent. He didn't go home, but headed on to the gym his uncle ran in the slightly better part of town. He came into the joint and seeing people sparring in the boxing ring and oner just working out. He sighed, and walked around looking for his uncle.

In the office, his uncle came out and was surprised to see his eldest nephew standing there, "Zaniel? Never thought I'de ss ya here." he said, "Is something wrong?"

".......I found out what happened to my old man..." he said plainly. His uncle blinked, "......what did you find out?" Zaniel sighed,"He's dead...number one....two weeks ago and that he was not even that far from us....and didn't come back to even see how we were...." He said, trying to keep his voice as calm as possible. His uncle sighed, "Come into the office Zaniel." he said and he followed without question.

They spent a good half hour talking about what's been happening. Zaniel mentioned about Lea and whatnot and about the argument they had earlier. He didn't mention what the business was just in cad and called Lea the 'secretary'. His uncle sighed, "Well for one, you should have shouted it all on her, she just was telling ya about it....and two, you were left a WHOLE new opportunity for a good life and you just walked away from it?" Zaniel gave a serious look at his uncle, "Uncle....Its NOT worth it! He made ALL that and didn't help us...It would the most DIRTY thing to take, dirty than SHIT." he growled, clearly torn and hurt by it all. His uncle sighed, he knew Zaniel had anger problems and never had anyone really to talk about it to, or anyone to express how he was really feeling. "I can't tell you how you should feel Zan.....but I know that your sister and your brother are relying on you and you have done great to keep them in as normal a life as you could....but I know you are stuck in a bad shit spot, and I know your struggling....but, I know that if you PUT your pride aside for a minute and think on them.....you could do better." he said.

Talia woke up as she sighs feeling a little more refreshed about her nap. But still sick to her stomach. She eat some of her food, but threw out the rest as it tasted a bit sour.

She looked at all the paper work as she looked at the clock. She noticed it it was almost 5pm. She sighs as she got the place ready for people to work. She canceled her clients and gave them to a few other bitches as she change out of her clothes, but stayed in Jays office for most of the day, working on bills, deals, sending dealers out, where to go. 

She looked at the death certificate as she sighs feeling bad for everything she put on Zaniel. She saw a picture of her and Jay when she was new to the business. She smiled as she remember how dumb he was sometimes, but he did everything for a reason. She looked up at the stained ceiling and noticed how gross it was, "Need to call someone in for that..."She thought. She heard a HUGE banging on the door of her office as she took her glasses off, narrowed her eyes, "what?!"She called a she opened the door, and Felt something to her head. She looked and saw it was a Gun. 

"Can I help you?"She asked kindly.

A much larger man, in his 40s it looked saw that it was Talia. "Bitch, where yoh daddy at?!"The Pimp called. He had gold teeth, a pimp like hate. She noticed him and recognized him, "He dead now."She stated as she noticed him pull the gun again. "Who the new pimp den?!"He asked almost angry placing the Gun back at her head. She narrowed her eyes, "Non yoh business CJ. "She spat out. "Waht yah want?"she asked him Still not afraid that she had a gun point at her head.

The man pushed the gun harder on her head. "Bitch do yah wanna die?!"He asked as he threatened. There were days Talia thought she would die, She smirked as she gave him a fake fear, "Dumbass! I run this shit right now! Yah think I got time for yoh stupid ass?! Now wat the fuck do yah want?!"She asked him again.

Jc noticed her guards coming for her. He pulled away, "I just wanna know where my damn bitches at... Where my pay."He stated a bit nervous when he noticed must Larger guards coming to Talia's side.

Talia sighs as she got out an envelope and gave it to him. "Here. Yoh bitches are at work already. "She said a she looked at him and spat. "Now get the fuck out of here. And get yah own bitches to work!"She stated walking back into the office and slamping it.

She could hear a screaming and yelling, and a bit of a russle and tussle but she ignored it. She sighs as she shook the numbing and fear off. 'if dad saw me now, he's being worried sick' she thought as she worked a bit more.

Zaniel led the gym a bit later, after he spoke with his uncle, walking back to the hood, feeling less frustrated now. He sighed, thinking he should go at least apologise to Lea for getting snappy with her. He headed on towards the brothel, but as he got closer he noticed the cars out the front. They were EXPENSIVE looking, he got worried now, that meant one thing and that someone with a lot money and a lot of trouble was in the brothel.

He decided to go to the front door and walked in, pretending to be a client. He saw the men coming down the hall and got out of their way as they were leaving, he didn't look at them as they left, not wanting to get their attention in anyway, keeping his hands in his pockets. Once they had left he walked downy he hall, "Lea?" Lea?!" he called out, "Where ya at?" he called again. He got to the office at the desk, "What happened?" he was worried they'd hurt her or worse.

Talia blinked when she heard yelling as she opened the door. She was about to yell, but than noticed it was Zaniel and he looked almost panic, "What?"She confused a she looked at him with a raised brow, "Are you okay?"She asked him.

She laughed a bit as she let him into the office and motioned for the gaurds that she was fine, "I'm fine. Stop worrying. "She said looking at him, "Are you okay?"She asked him with worry.

He sighed seeing she was fine, "...........I'm.....sorry." he said, looking away, still feeling annoyed a bit, but he knew he had to do this at least. "......I saw the cars out the front and thought somethin was about to go down." he said, "They didn't even look at me." he said, ".....ANother pimp?" he asked, guessing what they were. ".................I might need more time to think on it....I still have issues with my old man....but....if you find anything else." he got a random piece of paper and wrote down an address, "Come find me AFTER 9am during the week, not weekends." he said.

Talia took the piece of paper and looked at him. She sighs as she felt more tired, "Look, if you really don't want this. Than just say so."She said feeling irritated with how flakey he was.She looked at him with a serious look, "I understand that this is a lot to think about. I tried to give you the time, but one minute you're telling me you want this. Now you're telling me you need more time. I need someone behind that chair ASAP."She stated pointing to Jay's chair.

"And I can't do it by myself."She admited. "I thought I could hold the fort for a bit, but honestly. Without Out jay... I'm nothing"She told him honestly. "If I didn't hold my own ground. I could have been shot to death. And I'm sure you understand plenty what it's like to have a Gun to you're head, or a knife to your throat."She said feeling a bit scared. "I need to find a Daddy, or a Pimp that can take on this load."She said looking at him, "You have a week."She stated narrowing his eyes, "I give you a week. come back when you decided up till than. Nothing early, nothing late. one week exactly."She said looking at the clock. "If I don't hear from you later, I'll give it to someone else."She said a she said a she was going to close the office door on him. She was tired, hungry, and scared to death. She honestly wanted to go home, but knew she couldn't till everyone else was home.

"I'm not doing it for me.....I'm doing with for Chantel and Zion." he said honestly.

He listened to her, seeing just how stressed out she was....but he thought about the other pimp that came in just then, '.....She'll be pushed around.......' he stopped the door from closing with his foot, looking at her seriously, "I don't need a week......come by tomorrow morning, after 9am...you'll have solid yes or no." he said, "I won't play around. Once I make a real choice I stick to it....this is all just....overwhelming finding it all out in one go......" he sighed, "But I get it...." he said, "You wanna guy whose not gonna pussy out or second-guess......who has balls enough to stand up to guys in this kind of shady work.........But ou have my word, come by tomorrow and you'll get your answer." he pulled his foot from the door and he got walking away, "Oh...as for the 'help you sleep' offer....I'de wait until you know." he grinned at her and continued down the hall leaving out the back.

The next morning.....

Chantel and Zion were at school and Zaniel was cleaning the kitchen from breakfast time. Bullet was sleeping by front door, which was open but had the screen door locked, letting air in but not letting just anyone in or to let any fool see there is a PIT BULL sitting there. Bullet looked at his master and whined a little. Zaniel looked a thin, "What is it?" Bullet just whined again, "We can't go to the park today....need to see if she's coming or not." he sighed and got the dried plates stacked and putting them away in the cupboard.

The next morning Talia was tired. She was so tired she felt like she could sleep for days. She stay in Jays office for what feels like days. She was finally able to sleep a little bit at home. But her whole routine is a mess. Her dad even noticed how tired she was. Of course he was busy and had to leave for work. He didn't get a chance to eat.

She yawned as she looked at the time and saw that it was after 9am. She looked down at the address as she sighs. She got her clothes on, put on some makeup. and straightened her hair straight. She sighs as she headed out the door and locked it behind her. She started to walk more towards the hood area. The people that were out glanced and looked at her. She ignored them.

She finally got to the house as she looked down at the address. She check her time and it was about 9:30am. She noticed the screen door and saw Bullet by the door. She went up, and heard him growl, "Bullet. It's just me."She said with a soft voice.

The dog turn his head and started to wag his tail, growling a bit, confused since this was his house and his job was to protect his house. "Bullet. Go get Zaniel."She smiled as she knocked on the screen door and waited for him to answer.

Bullet made a soft bark, but it was loud enough to Get Zaniel's attention from the computer in his room, "....Bullet?" He got up, just as he reached his bedroom door, he shared a knock. He paused, seeing it was Lia. He was came over, " Bullet back." he told him and Bullet moved to the kitchen, "Sit." he did as he was told. He opened the door for her, "Hey...come in." he said, unlocking the door. The house was....sort of run down and out of date. Looked like it was stuck in the nighties basically. Bullet was wagging his tail like crazy recognising her fully now, "Okay." Zaniel said to him.

"Coffee?" he asked, guessing she was still tired.

Talia was let in as she looked around the house. There were days when Talia was 15 or 16 and would go to Jays house whenever he wanted a house call. It was rare, but he never touched her, just watched. She was cut out of her thought when she felt large paws on her chest as she looked down to see a waging tail, and slobbery dog. "Hey boy!"She smiled as she greet him. "I know it's been a while."She smiled. She opened up her purse, and got out a box of milk bones as she saw how excited he was, "I know, go ask you're daddy if you can have one."She laughed when she watched the Dog go back to Zaniel and looked at him with the puppy eyes.

Talia laughed as she looked at him when he offered her coffee, "Please..."She said. She noticed they had some furniture, a folded table, a very old TV stand with some games. Not a lot. She noticed the TV and saw that it wasn't even a flat screen, just a very very old 90's TV. She's surprised those things still worked. She followed him into the kitchen as she looked around and saw a wooden kitchen table. It was really in rough shape, but it sanded and re finished and painted it would look as soon as knew. She took a seat at the kitchen table and looked at him, waiting for his answer.

He saw treats straight treats, "Yeah he can." he said, Bullet scurried over back to Lia, wanting those milk bones. Zaniel figured since Bullet hadn't seen her in a while he'd allow some indulgence.. He got into the kitchen, getting the kettle boiling and got the coffee, out of the upper cupboard, "Milk, sugar?" he asked her, while spooning the coffee into the mugs. He noticed she was quiet and waiting, "Ya know know ya can talk...its not the house of silence." he said, waiting for the water to finish boiling. Bullet laid at her feet, following her into the kitchen, excited for new company in the house......which never really happened.

".......Nah, i know ya wanna know my answer straight away........" he said, figuring. The kettle popped and he poured the water into the mugs.

Talia smiled and gave him 2 bones and set them on the table. She blinked whens he heard him say it was that she could talk, "Sorry... My brain was somewhere else. I'm still really tired."She said as she looked at him, "Just Black please."She said.

She petted Bullet on his head as she looked at the table again, "This is a beautiful table."She said as she looked at the detailing. She looked and noticed him bringing the two cup over. She smiled kindly at him, "Thank you."She said.

She haven't had her coffee this morning, so she was greatful for the cup"She took a sip and sighs happily. She loved a good cup of coffee. She looked at him as she had the most tired look in her eyes. She could pass out if she could, but she had to be an adult and do adult things.

He got three sugars in his own coffee and just a bit of milk and brought hers over and placed her cup in front of hers and he sat opposite of her, "My....old man actually made it." he said, back around when I was born." he sighed slouching in the chair a little, almost, similar to Jay when in his chair. "No problem." he replied and drank form his coffee. Bullet chilled by her feet and laid their happily.

There was a basket of laundry he hadn't gotten too yet, it was all girl clothes, aka, Chantel. Lots of pinks, purples and very girly pieces. "Sorry if for the mess still, its laundry day." he sighed, he wished he cleaned up more. "I don't get to drink it often. Its Zion who drinks it mo than me." he shrugged. "......I'll do it." he said to her, giving his answer.

Talia noticed the pile of laundry and smiled. She looked at him but than saw the table. She knew Jay was very crafty when he was healthy, but he didn't do some much. "I figured you disliking you father you'd get rid of anything from him." She said softly as she took another sip. She than heard him say something, but her brain was half some where else, "I'm sorry what...?"She asked realizing that her brain zoned out.

She tried to shake her head to wake up and drink more of the coffee. She sighs, "Sorry my brain is like half dead from all those long nights. Did you say you'll do it?"She asked him just wanting to make sure she heard him correctly. "

"........couldn't afford a new table...." he said simply, "I do have good memories of em..........but they were up until I was nine." he shrugged, "So I repainted it to make it different." He looked at her, "Yeah I Said I would do it. I just needed a quiet night to get it all through my mind and think about what you said, what I saw........SO yeah, I will do it." he said.

"Plus...I went to talk to my uncle and he gave me some a dive and words of wisdom....which also helped with my choice." he added on.

Talia nodded as she looked at him than down at Bullet. "Okay..."She said with a small smile. It was something, and they were moving forward. She took her hand, same as when they first met when she wasn't a hoe. "It'll be a pleasure doing business with you, Zaniel"She said. She drank the last of her coffee as she looked at him, "Do you have a bit before you're sibling get home from School. I wanted to show you the house he left for you."She said looking at him. "Maybe take Bullet for a walk."She said looking at the cute pup.

She saw him wag his tail while looking up at her. She smiled at him. "Also, will you being telling your sibling about your father? At least explaining to them about how you guys got the house and such."She said.

When she heard about his uncle she smiled. She was happy he still had family that he can go to. Especially when he needed it. 

She realized that now that she heard his answer. She got a few things out of her bag. This is just some paper work and I need you to sign. Mainly the contract for being the new Pimp. The doctors insurance. You'll need you're social, and a few other things to fill. I've already marked it for you."She said the high light areas that she couldn't fill out for him. "This one is for you're dental."She said placing another set of organized documents."Once we get this done. I can send them out when I get to the Hideout."She said as she looked at him.

He looked at her hand and he gave a small smiled hand took he hand, shaking it, "Same." he said, he sculled the rest of his coffee as well. "They left less than an hour ago, won't be back till 3." he said, getting up, "How fairs it? I've never seen an expensive crib around this area." he said, grabbing Bullet's lead, which he got excited seeing him grab it.

".....I think Chantel will go wit it, But Zion will be thinkin it be lookin fishy." he said. He blinked seeing ALL the papers she pulled out and sighed, "Papers......" he came back over and got looking through and signing what he needed to.

Talia blushed whens he saw that small smile. 'so... he can smile. And here I thought it was all smirks... Ooooh, AND he has nice teeth. God that is sexy.' she thought. But than realized she had to think straight again. 

"His place is actually in the nicer part of the city. Pretty much where all the white rich people live."She said rolling her eyes. "But he rarely stayed there. I've only been there maybe twice while working with him."She said. "Its close to the park you take Bullet too. It's not a Far walk."She said. "I really hope you're siblings will be happier there."She said honestly. "I'll be nice for you to take a breather too. Knowing that you don't have to worry about them looking into a better school, better enviroment. Walking far for grogeries."She said looking at him "Do you have a drivers License?" She asked him out of curiousity.

And noticed his looks about the papers. "Hey. I made it easy for you."She laughed a bit. She got the papers he signed and put them back in an orderly pile and into her bag. "Perfect. While we are checking out the house there is some leasing paperwork that needs to be filled. The house is pay off. Mortage and everything. Really the only think you'll need to pay is the Utilities."She stated looking at him. She suddenly felt dizzy. Her head light headed a she quickly stood up, and her body froze, her mind going blank as she fell to the ground out cold. She was beyond her limit and was just tired.

"Yeah I got a license but I've got a motorcycle." he said, "Which would mean Bullet would have to wait here." he said, be best since he watched the house when he was out. He cringed hearing it was mostly white, but he knew he and to get used to that anyway. He handed the signed papers to her, "We can got by bike, but you got a skirt on." he said, looking away for a moment, thinking he might have some pants his mother left. But when he looked back to as if she wanted them, he saw her fainting and he acted quick, catching her before she could hit the floor, "Hey!! Lia!" he said in a slight panic. He looked around and picked her up and took her to his room, ".......Yous over worked yoself." he sighed and laid her down gently and got her shoes off to let her stay in bed. He quickly got a wash cloth and got cold water on it and placed it on her forehead, sitting next to her. He sighed, "Wat did I git myself into?"

She was sleeping soundly as she groaned. She felt a cool towel on her head a she gasped and sat up. She winced as her head was pounding from the headache she had. She blinked whens he noticed Zaniel. "What happened?" she asked as she sat up slowly. Her head was still a bit dizzy.

She couldn't remember too much other than giving paper work to Zaniel. She was so tired she must have passed out. "What time is it?"She asked a she saw that he was siting there. "Sorry about that...."She said hopping he wasn't worried too much.

"WHoa, damn gurl lay back!" he said in surprise when she woke suddenly, "Ya fainted." he said picking up the cloth, "Lay back down." he said again, you need to rest a bit. We can look at the house later." He looked at the clock by his bed, "Its midday." he replied, "Ya really did need the sleep." he new she looked tired. He got the cloth back on her head, "Ya should get some rest before tonight." he said, "Plus I need to start this job right away......but I don't have the proper clothes to look like a pimp." he said.

Talia laughed a bit when she looked at him. "You don't havve to get them right away. We have some spare at the hideout. We can always go shopping later. She yawned as she felt awake and tired at the same time. She looked at him. "So.... As you're bottom bitch, anything you want me to do for you?" She teased as she caress his hoody covered chest.
