Origins of Saluna

The spider looked at it but poked at the head on the deer.

Benjamin-perked an eyebrow and cut off the head, taking back the piece he cut out* I'll eat this tonight

He eager too the head and pulled it back and carried away, leaving Ben alone in his camp.

Benjamin sighed in relief* Least it didn't escalate *he finished his job and started took up a piece of that meat pulling out the Bread and butter his mom made and smiled*

"Ahh you're returned." giggled a familiar voice.

Benjamin's head popped up then turned* Oh, it's you again...I take it that little guy from earlier was from you?

"You still think I control them?" she said, "These Spiders are intelligent and have their own will." then the little spider appeared out from behind her, "You've done yourself a favour, treating this little one well the other will spare you from harm in the future." she patted along its abdomen. She once again had a basket of herbs and flowers in arm.

Benjamin-so if I were to travel into the Haze...it will be much safer for me?

"Yes it would be...for the spider to leave you alone." she said with a grin, "But let me give you advice, Don't ASSUME thing with people when you've no proof."

"Besides I'm here to trade."

Benjamin-a trade again huh?...what are you offering? *He said simply cooking the meat up*

She reached into her basket and pulled two things out a small hand-sized bag and smooth stone jar, "Do you wish to look?"

Benjamin-noticed and took interest* yes...actually I would *He looked at them*

Int he bag were FRESH wild mushrooms which were very hard to find without going deep in the woods and looking in the right places. And in the jar pulling cork seal off, was a good chunk of honey comb with golden honey pooled deep around it.

"Those are what i offer, in exchange for the liver and the heart of your deer." she said, nothing sneaky behind her words.

Benjamin-...I'm more then happy to give you them I have no use for them, not this far from home, and your contents...could actually be of use to my mother. specially the honey

She grinned, "You actually not suspicious for once." she joked a little. "What do I call you?"

Benjamin-so far you've shown me no harm...I'm Benjamin...and you?

"I'm Saluna." she winked at him, "Plus if I wished you harm we wouldn't be talking."

Benjamin-maybe...I"m pretty confident in myself *the resourcefulness when he was in the Haze showed he wasn't any old villager, but pretty skilled*

Saluna chuckled, "With you being able to leave yesterday, i believe it." she said. "Not man hunters are as...resourceful."

Benjamin-...what are you...exactly *he looked at her, he had his own guess but wanted to hear it from her himself*

"What do YOU think I am?" she grinned and walked over to the pluck he pulled from the deer and got the heart and Liver, not worried about the gore. She got them wrapped in some long grass and got them in her basket.

Benjamin-...someone who uses black magic

She chuckled that he didn't say it outright, "A witch in other words?" she giggled.

"I'm not exactly a witch." she said, "I mainly know herbalism and natural remedies." she said, "My mother on the other hand...."

Benjamin-I see, hmm...well *He pulled his meat off and started to eat* Until we meet again Saluna

"Oh? You wish me gone so fast?" she giggled, "Well then, See you around....Benjamin." she blew him a kiss and walked off the the spider followed her.
